Great American Insurance Acquires Ausco’s Business Unit

The Executive Liability Division of Great American Insurance Group has acquired the Non Profit and Employment Practices Liability book of business from Ausco, a division of Financial & Professional Risk Solutions.
The takeover reinforces the Executive Liability Division’s presence in the Non Profit and Employment Practices market.
Ausco provides management liability solutions for non-profit organizations. Ausco and Great American’s Executive Liability Division have been partnering in this area since 2005, with Ausco serving as a managing general underwriter for Great American’s Executive Liability Division in selected industries.
Jane Kornesczuk, Chief Underwriting Officer, Great American’s Executive Liability Division, said: “the Ausco book is a great addition to our existing and already substantial Non Profit and Employment Practices footprint in the market. The transition should be seamless for our insureds.”
